மூன்று பத்தாண்டுகளாக நிலவிய ஆயுதப் போராட்டம், இன்று ஒரு தீர்வுமின்றி முடிவுக்கு வந்துள்ளது. ஆனால் இதற்கு அரசியல் அடிப்படையாக இருந்த இன முரண்பாடு, அரசியல் ரீதியாக இன்னமும் முடிவுக்கு வந்துவிடவில்லை. மாறாக மிக மோசமான ஒரு இனவழிப்பு, பாசிச வடிவத்தை எட்டியுள்ளது. இதை இன்று எதிர்கொள்ளும் தமிழர் தரப்பின்றி, தமிழினம் அனாதையாகியுள்ளனர்.
